Computer system for monitoring and control of UAVs


Abstract:

This article presents the development of a system for monitoring and controlling an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in real time. It was developing a computer application that will be installed on a server inside the ground control station (GCS). The information generated in the aircraft is concentered and transmitted by a control device that is on board the UAV through a DataLink wireless communications system specific to UAV. The parameters of the physical variables and events generated in the UAV are showed to the system operator and stored in a database engine for post flight analysis of the UAVs.
