Cooperative learning and the web 2.0. technical University of Machala


Abstract:

Web 2.0 tools are an excellent ally of cooperative work; possibility that teachers of the subject of Research Methodology of the Technical University of Machala (UTMach) used in the teaching-learning process. This scientific article responds to a descriptive study with a quantitative-qualitative approach, systematized by research methods, phenomenological, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and statistical, carried out with the purpose of characterizing said process; The results reveal that it is distinguished by the recognition of the students of the meaning of cooperative learning, the correct fulfillment of the functions of the teacher, the active and responsible participation of the students, the use of technologies, the development of skills for planning, the self-control, assertive communication, active listening, critical and reflective thinking, as well as for the promotion of human values. The quality indicators of the final report point to assessments of good and excellent.
